Karen comes to Public Health Australia with thirty years’ experience in TAFE NSW. Her roles in TAFE include: Trainer, Project Manager, Chief Education Officer; Industry Officer-Health, Community and Recreation and Senior Training Consultant, Commercial Business.
In her new role as Client Manager for Public Health Australia (PHA) Karen will be working with corporate clients to connect them to the training solutions that best meets their workforce needs.
Lisa Hughes
Lisa has worked as an Environmental Health Officer for over a decade, specialising in food safety & public health regulation, compliance and education. Lisa has worked in both Local Government and private industry during this time.
Lisa has expert knowledge in compliance and regulation of the beauty, body art and body modification industries and has written legislation for state agencies.
Lisa provides consulting and contact services to Local Government agencies for food safety inspection and compliance and also with large scale international temporary events.
Lisa won the EHA (NSW) Inc Environmental Health Professional of the Year in 2018.
Dr Cameron Jones
Cameron Jones is a microbiologist/mycologist and former University academic. He has published over 80 peer reviewed papers and conference proceedings and over 1200+ technical reports on microbial pathogens.
